Holo-chrome variants are here!
Yesterday, we got our last shipment from the prints. We finally have our holo-chrome variant for The Healer's Blade and Kid Cretaceous! Art prints and bookmarks arrived too. If you're one of the few who ordered a t-shirt, those are expected to arrive within 1-2 more weeks. Shirts are the only item we do not have on hand.
I've mailed out a small amount of packages already. I'm sending out a bigger shipment today, but about 10 have been sent out so far and a couple have even arrived already.
Since this is such a busy time for shipping, I'll be visiting my post office to send them in batches. Today's batch is about 20-25 packages to be fulfilled. Please be sure to let us know if you have any issues with your package.
April 6-7th, 2024, Comics & Cosmos will be tabling at Gem State Comic Con. We will be bringing brand new items that have not been available before! We wanted to be sure all of our readers got a chance to pick up these exclusive & new rewards.
Did I mention? We've secured an amazing artist for one of the covers that will be available then. They may have worked on a special comic featuring a very super gal that released on in the past couple of months. Our oversized first issue will contain the prologue and 24 pages of new story!

Most of the comics have arrived!
A little less than two weeks ago, three boxes filled with a little more than 25 pounds of The Healer's Blade arrived!

Unfortunately, I cannot ship out any packages until the other shipment(s) arrive. The bookmarks unlocked with our stretch goal are being shipped to me from the printer with the holo-chrome Susca variants. The label for this order has been printed, but there has been no update from the shipping partner. We are currently waiting on the following to arrive still:

This morning, I locked addresses on BackerKit with a final notice. That means there's a little under 48 hours to make any changes you need to before we begin shipping these rewards out. This was already done today, instead of Saturday, to give you all 2 more days. I'll be sending another update this week showing off the physical copies that have arrived.
FREE Bonus booklet fulfilled at random
These arrived earlier than the copies of The Healer's Blade#1: PROLOGUE. I printed off a very small number of "A MARVELous Sampler" so I could see my Spider-Man comic in print and have some to hand out at upcoming comic cons. I will be slipping a couple copies of this booklet randomly into your packages during fulfillment. If you're one of the lucky few, you'll be able to hold my Miles Morales' story "Overloaded" with Marcus Jimenez in your hands!

Comics are ordered!
I had hoped to send this update last week, but the bank transfer took longer than I expected. I have good news though. All copies of The Healer's Blade #1: PROLOGUE, bookmarks, and art prints have been ordered! Sticker sheets already arrived months ago. The only items I have left to order are some t-shirts and the metallic prismatic covers of Kid Cretaceous #1 from Ka-blam.

The comics are expected to arrive between November 14th to November 21st.

In one week, I will be locking addresses with final notice (48-hour warning) on November 11th. This is when I will send my next update, as an extra reminder. This means BackerKit will allow edits through the 13th. This should allow me to start bagging, boarding, and packing orders once the comics arrive. I'll post another update showing off the physical copies too.

Originally, I hoped your comics would be getting into your hands by now. That's why I included a surprise for those who ordered a physical copy of the holo-foil covers. I included a short story that I wrote back in 2017 for an assignment. I'll post it here, so you can still read it this Halloween.
I can't believe 2017 was 6 years ago, but it also feels like a lifetime since I wrote this

Missing comics from the indie bundle?
One of our backers reminded me that there were two comics announced in Update #10 that were not in the INDIE COMICS BUNDLE folder for the digital rewards. That has now been fixed and the files are there for you to read.
