I have some super exciting news...
We asked you to help us reach 150 prelaunch followers for The Healer’s Blade #1 for our next announcement and we did it!
I’m grateful to all of you for helping my stories find readers like you. So, I’m excited to announce the next variant cover artist joining the team for The Healer’s Blade #1: Skylar Patridge!
This was first revealed in my newsletter. Skylar is such a talented artist. They sent me three concepts that were all so cool. One of them made me really sad to pass up but we finalized which concept we were going with last week. I think I'll hold off sharing any concept art or peeks at this cover until the final reveal.
Stay tuned for a sneak peek into a new series, a new cover reveal for the next PPP release, an update for Kid Cretaceous #2, and more. Recently, I also got the opportunity to do something else cool!
For my first paid comic writing gig for an anthology, I got to co-create a Cthulhu/Lion hybrid for…
“Cthulhu Invades Fairy Tales” is an original graphic novel, published by Orange Cone Productions, featuring more than 160 pages and 20 Original Stories by over 50 incredible comic creators got together to bring the blending the Traditional and Grimm Fairy Tales that we loved growing up with the cosmic horror of H.P Lovecraft - Call Of Cthulhu Universe.
There are only TWO DAYS LEFT to this book! I had such a blast working on this project with Max Pinelli to tell our story-- an Eldritch-inspired retelling of the classic tale The Lion and the Mouse.
Take an unlettered look at the first two pages of "Cthulion and the Mouse" andBACK NOW:
After a failed experiment with The Nous Arc inside the TOWER OF THE WHOLLY GRA.AL, an alchemist unleashes an eldritch entity - the Cthulion!
Talk to you soon!

HeyBeautiful Backers,
If you opened this e-mail, I apologize. I tried to warn you beforehand, buds. But, you only have 64 HOURS left to help us raise the final $450 to reach funding! How can you help?
There are THREE things that would help us immensely:
If you haven’t already, please back the campaign to help this comic book from going up in smoke.
If you’ve already supported the campaign, consider getting an Add-on. There’s an entire stash of the most unique rewards I’ve ever offered including: eco-friendlyhemp bookmarks, D.A.R.E. To Read/Create Comicsshirts, lighters with artwork by Max Pinelli, and more!
SHARE THE CAMPAIGN!Even just sharing the campaign is an incredible way to help us cross the finish line and get this campaign funded.
If things proceed as planned, we’ll be able to move forward on time with, the more family-friendly, Kid Cretaceous #2 later this summer.
Which will be followed up by The Healer's Blade! Save that pre-launch campaign, so I can reveal the final Healer's Blade variant artist and you can get an EARLY BIRD exclusive print by Marcus Jimenez (see below) when we launch! The next update will be a big one.
In the gorgeous land of ancient Greece, Herakles spends his time embarking on epic adventures of godly proportions. In the city of Thebes, our titular hero has stopped to rest from his travels. Due to Hera’s machinations and unwavering hatred, Herakles will have to face off against formidable foes — Ares and his Dogs of War, who serve the mad Queen of Olympus as she seeks to end him once and for all!

Dropping by to provide a quick update
It seems that there was an issue with the very last batch of books that got sent to the final round of backers. After working it out, I have finished packing replacements and printing shipping labels for the few that were affected.
They will be picked up in the morning with comp copies to the other creators involved. This means that ALL comics will be delivered in the U.S. by March 4th and international by March 22nd.
If the replacement copies have not arrived to you by then, please reach out to me directly so I can get the issue corrected (again) as soon as possible.
All returning backers from the previous campaign(s) and Early Bird backers (First 48 hours) that pledge to the follow up campaign to The Healer's Bladewill receive this art print by Marcus Jimenez with their order completely free.
I wanted to do something cool for all of you that supported us from the beginning and the newcomers that still show upat the start.
For returning backers, we still suggest being an Early Bird backer to take advantage of the discount, but you will receive this print no matter what day you pledge - even if it's at the last second. We recently broke 100 prelaunch followers!
Once we reach 150 followers, we will announce the final special cover artist entering the mix for our oversized first full issue! You're in for quite a surprise.
I'll have more news about other campaigns for you all in March!
Happy (Belated) Valentine's Day
In case you missed it, I released a free one-page comic for Valentine's Day. It was fun to work with Max Pinelli and Cristian Docolomansky on this Spider-Man fan comic:
Yes, that is a Daredevil shirt May is wearing. He's her favorite hero. Peter is thrilled about that.
I first wrote this and sketched out thumbnails for the artist in 2022. This was the script I was originally going to work with Marcus Jimenez on, before making the Miles Morales one with him and Lucas Gattoni instead.
I wanted to break the rules a little bit and have the comic flow in a Z-pattern and I had to reference the 2002 kiss.
